| SCLU holds meet, urges govt. settle employees demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 7: The office bearers and members of State control Labour Union, in a meeting held Sheri-Kashmir Bhawan, under the chairmanship of Nar Singh, President of the union discussed various issues regarding the problems of employees of Government departments, and public sector employees were discussed in threadbare. The members hailed the decision of the government for constituting a sub committee to find ways and means for mitigating the suffering of the employees of both government departments as well as public sector. SCLU made an appeal to the sub committee to settle the issues of the employees at an earliest to mitigate the sufferings of these employees. Further in the meeting Ishfaq Khan Chouhan was nominated as district president, state central Labour union, Kathua, Thoru Ram Mandi, Sr. Vice President Jammu District State Central Labour Union, Jammu. Prominent among others who were present in the meeting include: Sanjeev Bali, Nirmal Singh, Karan Singh, Vinod Tak, Deep. Mehara, Ajaz Kazmi, Swaran Singh and Baldev Raj etc.
