| PMEGP Task Force Committee Meeting held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, May 7: In order to provide employment avenues to the unemployed youth of district Rajouri to start their own income generating units, a Task Force Committee meeting under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri was held at District Industries Centre, Rajouri for the selection of candidates for providing loan assistance under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Employment, Development Officer KVIC, Jammu, District Lead bank Manager, Rajouri, District Manager ST/SC/OBC Corporation, Principal ITI Rajouri, Executive Officer, KVIB Rajouri besides General Manager, District Industries Centre Rajouri who was the member convener of the Task Force Committee.
The Task Force Committee scrutinized applications based on the experience, technical qualification, skill, viability of the project etc and selected 66 candidates for sponsorship to different banks branches of the district. The selected candidates will be provided project formulation guidance and orientation by the District Industries Centre, Rajouri before submission to the concerned bank of the area.
The General Manager, DIC, Rajouri, M. A. Mirza directed the selected candidates to complete the required formalities besides working sincerely with dedication to establish their ventures for getting employment and for generation of employment to others.
