| Misusing 'Panun Kashmir' banner by some individuals, matter of great concern: PK | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 7: The Panun Kashmir has taken a serious mote of the activities of some individuals misusing the banner of Panun Kashmir (PK) with nefarious designs to subvert the just cause of the Kashmiri Pandit movement.
Addressing a press conference today PK President Dr. Agnishekher said is a bizarre example of going to the extent of impersonation, using the name of Panun Kashmir and other related proxies is the proposed convening of Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the name of Panun Kashmir by one Ashwani Kumar Chrangoo, who has since been expelled in the AGM of the organizational activities.
Agnishekhar further said AGM condemned Ashwani Kumar for his idealogical drift to hold the then Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Jag Mohan responsible for genocide and exodus of Kashmir Pandits in Kashmir. He conference held at Srinagar and the same has been reproduced in one Nyla Ali Khan's book "ISLAM WOMEN AND VOILENCE IN KASHMIR" which is making rounds in American circles.
This intentional ideological drift at this crucial stage of the Kashmiri Pandit history is strengthening all the forces inimical to the cause of Kashmiri Pandits, ie. The terrorists and fundamentalist separatists, who are otherwise spreading the falsehood about the causes of the Kashmiri Pandit's exodus. Besides the said AGM took exception to the threatening letter which Ashwani Kumar had addressed to the leader of the organization, Dr. Agnishekhar, with an ulterior motto to black mail and hi jack Panun Kashmir. While such anti community move is condemned, at the same times, the members of the community are hereby informed that Panun Kashmir has nothing got to do with this so called AGM and holding of such meeting in the name of Punun Kashmir is ultra vires, as Ashwani Chrangoo is not even a member of the PK let alone calling himself at its President.
