| Mahajan Sabha Gandhi Nagar holds meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 7: A meeting of Mahajan Sabha Gandhi Nagar was held under the presidentship of Jagdish Vaid here today.
In the meeting, it was decided that the election of President of the Sabha will be held in mid September.
All the members of Mahajan Biradari expressed satisfaction over the amicable decision regarding holding of elections.
On the occasion, members also congratulated Vinay Mitter, first president of All India Bharatiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha.
Those who were present in the meeting include Jugal Mahajan, Chief Patron, Chaman Shah General Secretary, Bansi Lal Sr Vice President PC Gupta Vice President, RK Choudhary Vice President, Raman Mahajan Secretary, Dharam Pal and Raj Kumar.
PDD daily wagers demand release of payment

Jammu, May 7: The all Jammu and Kashmir Daily Wagers Union, of Power Development Department, (PDD) in a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Tarun Gupta, where the members of the union have shown great resentments against the Chief Accounts Officer A.K. Bhatt of the office of the Chief Engineer, PDD who has utilized the funds sanctioned by the Govt. under order No: PDD/II/AC/87/2010 dated 22.04.2010 amounting to rupees two crores and thirty lacs for the release of wages to the daily wagers of the power Development department. But the officers has utilized only Rs.one Crore, eighty five lacs and fifty nine thousands for the payment of the wages to the daily wagers, the daily wagers has demands to pay the wages to the daily wager employees, on first priority, failing which the daily wages the department will go for an indefinite agitation with effect from 10th May, 2010, till the payment is released in their favour. |
