| Forest employee suspended over forgery | | | Early Times Report
Doda,May 7: A forest department employee has been placed under suspension following by his involvement in forgery. The junior assistant forest circle namely Mohd Shafi was asked by his senior Suresh Kumar, Chief Conservator Forest Officer of Chenab Circle to withdraw Rs 40,000 from the JK bank through cheque but he embedded one lakh more on the amount thus withdrew Rs 1.4 lakh thus loss of Rs one lakh to the state exchequer. The matter is reported to the police and the investigation is in progress
