| NAREGA labourers protest | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, May 7: Labours in development works in village Janglote Padyari as per NAREGA staged a massive protest against responsible agency BDO for delaying their pending salary of last six months due to which all labourer are getting frustrated and harassed. Suman Devi, Madhu, Laxmi, Kailash Devi, and other laborers are without two time meals. Demonstrators blamed department of BDO including JE, for misguiding the labourer whenever they demanded salaries at right time. Labourer criticized attitude of the employees of BDO who are executing NAREGA in village Padyari. They alleged that low graded development works as per scheme have been executed by the department to make illegal money by using regular class material. They resenting villagers urged upon DDC to intervene and release salary of labourer of the last six months and also urged for arranging for strong vigil over development works as per NAREGA in the village Padyari.
