JAMMU, May 7: A review meeting under the chairmanship of State Project Director (SDP), Sarva Shiksha Abhaiyan (SSA), Khurshaid Ahmad Reshi was held at Zonal Resource Centre, Kishtwar which was attended by nearly 70 participants which included CRPs, ZRPs, ZEOs, DRGs, officers from DIET, DEPO and Principal DIET and CEO Kishtwar.
Director, Academics, J&K Board of School Education, A K Sen and Ex. Joint Director of School Education, Jammu were also present on the occasion.
During the meeting the SDP oriented and sensitized the officers and officials related with the implementation of SSA.
Stress was laid on pedagogical issues like launching of new learning enhancement initiative, LEAP, civil works, ECCE and gender gap. All the district officers were instructed to ensure the proper and effective implementation of the programme keeping in view the norms and guidelines already circulated to the districts. Individual queries were also responded by the SPD.
The meeting ended with vote of thanks from ZEO, Kishtwar.
