| KC Public, J K Public share football titles | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 8: KC Public School and JK Public School clinched under-14 and under-19 year group finals respectively in the three-day inter-school boys' football tournament of Jammu district held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports at GGM Science College ground, here today. In the under-14 final, KC Public trounced DBN School by a solitary goal. Earlier, in the semi-finals, DBM blanked JK Public School 3-0 while KC Public overpowered Ashoka Higher Secondary School bearing latter 2-0.Later, in the under-17 final, JK Public School beat MHAC Nagbani by a solitary goal to lift the title. In the semi-finals, played in the morning session, JK Public beat DBN 1-0 while MHAC Nagbani outplayed KC Public School 3-2 in tie-breaker.This tournament held under the chairmanship of Deputy Director Jammu, S S Bali while Ashok Kumar was vice-chairman of the organizing committee. The competitions were ogranised under the supervision of district officer, Jia Lal Sharma, who appreciated the member of the organising committee for smooth conduct of the event.
