| JKNPP holds meeting of provincial executive meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 8: A meeting of provincial executive committee of Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) was held at party headquarters at Gandhi Nagar today. Provincial President JKNPP Faqir Nath presided over the meeting. The meeting appealed to all the block, district, provincial and state office bearers of the party to participate in the two-day special convention commencing from May 15 at Patnitop. The convention is convened by State President and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia to mobilize the youth, peasants, students, labourers, women on the latest situation in Jammu and Kashmir and promote national integration with the rest of the country. The meeting also appealed the Panthers Party leadership to take a positive decision on the census, which shall start from May 15. The meeting appreciated the initiative of the chairman to expose the irony of the central and state governments on census. The meeting said that census being taken is a fraud on the people as there is no mentioning of language or migration. The committee appealed the leadership to take decision in the matter. The provincial committee also congratulated the Panthers Party legislators led by Harsh Dev Singh for their performance in the Assembly and the Council particularly on the legal rights of the SC in the recruitments. The meeting was also attended by BB Kotwal Adv. Vice Chairman, Daljit Singh and P.K Ganju state Vice-Presidents, Anita Thakur and Shanti Swaroop Basotra General Secretaries, Rajinder Singh Manju State Secretary, Jagdev Singh Coordination Secretary, as special invitee.
