| BYS Yog Ashram inaugurated | | |

JAMMU, May 9: Yog Ashram of Bharatiya Yog Sansthan (BYS) was ceremoniously inaugurated here today at Talab Tillo near SOS Home.
The Sansthan was formally thrown open by Swami Satyamitranand Giri, the founder of world known Bharat Mata Mandir in Haridwar and founder of Bharatiya Yog Sansthan.
More than three thousand sadhaks of Bhartiya Yog Sansthan from various states of the country participated in the inaugural ceremony.
The prestigious Yog Ashram at Jammu is a magnificent building constructed on a piece of land measuring 15 canals.
Yog Ashram would cater to the yogis' requirements of not from J&K state but also neighbouring states with the aim of taking every human being physically alert, mentally sound and spiritually conscious.
Swami Giri while addressing the gathering commended the selfless service being rendered by BYS through its free Yog Sadhna Kendras throughout the country and abroad as well.
Swami also commended ceaseless work being done by Prakash Lal even at the advance age of 90 yrs and wished the Sansthan very well in its noble tasks and yogic endevours.
He said that Yog is not an exercise but is a way of life through which every human being can realise the presence of God in himself.
Among other who attended the inaugural ceremony include Parkash Lal and Mahavir Gupta president BYS Jammu Kashmir.
