Soz address public meeting at Shopian

Shopian, May 9: Presid-ent J&K Pradesh congress committee, Prof. Saif-ud-Din while addressing a public gathering at shopian said that Congress party is committed to strengthen the coalition and make it a more effective instrument of service to the people of Jammu and Kashmir state and assured the gathering that he would take personal interest in over all development of district Shopian. He on the occasion urged the people to strengthen the congress party so that it serves the interest of the people beside is able to make coalition strong. He said Congress party is the party of down-trodden and betterment of common people. Soz said that he will ask Government of India to include Rambiyara and Vishu Nallh in flood management scheme, so that more than 30,000 kanals of land is available for cultivation. He also assured that district hospital Shopian will be upgraded and decision regarding mini-secretariat will be taken soon. He also told the two Ministers Sham Lal Sharma, Health and Horticulture Minister and Raman Balla Minister for revenue and rehabilitation are visiting shopian and will sit with people representatives and taken various decisions in consultation with them on over all development of the Nallah by formed district and will also identify the land for construction of Gujjar Hostel. Soz on the occasion sanctioned Rs.20lakh for various development programme for Shopian and Rs.10lakhs for Wachi. Those who addressed the meeting were Ch.Bashir Ahmed Naaz MLA G.A.Mir, Abdul Majid Padder, Bashir Bhat, Gulam Hassan Khan, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Peer Nazir Ahmad Anayatullah Rather, Abdul Gani, said that Congress party is growing stronger day by day under the leadership of Prof. Soz.
