| Missing from Jammu, JCO found dead in Pathankote | | | JAMMU: A junior commissioned officer (JCO), who went missing from his unit here Friday last, was today found hanging from a tree at Mamun Cantonment in Pathankote.
The dead was identified as Naib-Subedar Mangal Dass (42). He was found hanging with a telephone wire tied to a tree at Mamun Cantonment, about 110 km from here, police sources said. Mangal of 8 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry had gone missing Friday
morning under mysterious circumstances, the sources added. The reason behind the incident was not immediately known. Army had ordered a court of inquiry into the incident.
