| One killed, 16 hurt in road mishaps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May, 10: One person was killed and 16 others were wounded in different road accidents here today. A truck (JK02H/6891) skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Kella Morh in Ramban, resulting in the instant death of its driver Madan Lal of Chak, Udhampur. The conductor, however, escaped unhurt as he jumped out of the truck while it was about to fell in the gorge. A bus (JK02-N/5661), which was on its way from Arnia to Jammu, met with an accident at Chorli Kothey Bulendhey near Bishnah as a result of which seven passengers sustained injuries. They were hospitalised. Nine persons were injured in other incidents. They were admitted to the GMC hospital.
