Jammu, May 10: A colorful musical programme was held at famous, historical cum religious place 'Sid-Soankha' under the jurisdiction of district Samba yesterday. The programme was attended by the large number of people organizes by the J&K academy of art, culture, and languages under border area development programme. The artists who took part in the programme song melodious Bhayaus and sofi songs especially in praise of Baba Sidh-Goria Artists who took part were, Bishan Dass, Ajit Sharma party, Renu Verma, Krishan lal, Bodh Raj, Garu Ram, R.K. Kapoor on Sanjukta Harsh etc. Earlier, Mahant Rattan nath of the Sid-Swankha temple lighted the lamp and song Saraswati Vendana, Additional secretary of the JKAACL Divisional office, Savita Bakshi presided over the function. In her presidential address highlighted the Academy policies in bringing out the building artists at national level platform, O.P.Sharma, Special officer (culture) was the overall in charge of the programmer.
