| 2 killed, 8 hurt in road mishaps | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 11: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed and eight others injured in different road accidents here today. A speeding tipper hit a motorcycle at Nadwal Morh in Khour, Akhnoor, resulting in the instant death of the youth who was driving it and his pillion rider. The bodies were kept in the mortuary of Pallanwala PHC. Police had registered a case in this connection and arrested the tipper driver. A Tata Sumo (JK02A/1467) collided with a truck (JK13/5721) at Hingi near Ramsoo in Banihal as a result of which six persons sustained injuries. All of them were admitted to the Banihal Emergency Hospital. Raman Singh and Narinder Singh, both residents of Bobiya, Hiranagar, were injured when their motorcycle was hit by an autoricksha at Mathra Chak, Kathua. They were admitted to the GMC Hospital here.
