| CM calls on Governor | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, May 11: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah called on the Governor, N N Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here this evening. During their more than hour long discussions, the CM briefed the Governor in regard to various important issues relating to the governance of the State, including certain legislative matters. The CM also briefed the Governor about the to-date status of the more important development and welfare projects, particularly the projects in the pipeline to enhance hydro-power generation in the State. They also reviewed the overall security situation and certain measures underway for tightening existing arrangements on the ground in certain parts of the State.
