| BAJ ridicules KBA | | | JAMMU: Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) took serious note to recent development of Kashmir Bar Association (KBA) leveling contemptuous and defamatory remarks against institution of J&K High Court. The utterances of KB A, President are prima-facie contemptuous and undermine dignity of J&K High Court. The attempt seems to be a deliberate to shake faith of people in judiciary and its independence.
BAJ also took serious note and said that such liberties cannot be given to any body as otherwise the majesty and independence of judiciary will be seriously affected. General Secretary JBA Rajesh Thappa said that if proper measures are not taken faith and confidence of people in judiciary as well as in state will be shaken and its capacity to deliver justice will erode in minds of public at large. BAJ urged J&K High Court to take proper action against those who has leveling the contemptuous and defamatory remarks against the judiciary. JNF
