| J&K Montessorie School Celebrates 'Mothers day' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 12: The J&K Montessorie School celebrated Mother's day with great enthusiasm and favour in the school premises here today.
Students performed different type of creative activities, while students of pre-primary wing prepared mother's day card for their mothers and presented rose buds to their mothers. students of middle and secondary classes as well as hundreds o students form different schools and colleges participated in the message writing competition in which they expressed their feelings and emotions towards their mothers.
The programme commenced with words by Ms.Akshita Sharma focusing that mother is an epitome of love which moulds, nourishes and carries out life complex paths from infancy to adolescence.
A number of children recited songs and rhymes to honour their mothers on the occasion. A penal of judges evaluated and assessed the received messages (about 1000) and declared the winners.
The three winners of message writing competition were awarded with the cash prizes by the school management, first Prize of Rs.5000/- was given to Ms.Sahiba by the Managing Director of the school Sanjeev Gupta, 2nd Prize of Rs.3000/- was given to Rajni Bhan of JKMS by the Vice Chairman Satish Anand and third prize of Rs.2000/- was given to Shantanu Gupta by Principal of the school ML Vaid.
Managing Director in his address said that mothers are the symbols of sacrifice that's first and last aim is care and welfare of her children. Every morning we all must touch the feet of our mothers to seem her pious blessings and good wishes and godly smiles to make each day flawless, bright and successful.
