JAMMU: Young and Dynamic bold and affirmative Congress Leader Vikas Dutt toured one of the big villages Lashwara falling under Bishnah Constituency and addressed a large public gathering. Dutt educated the people about his party and the sacrifices his party has made to make us breath under this Independent country. He emphasized the people of village to have faith in congress as Bishnah was once a very strong congress dominated constituency but over the time people gave way to other parties and today the plight of Bishnah is pathetic.
Vikas Dutt while addressing his meeting asked the people to trust his party as all the development works being carried out now are all because of his party and not because of any person or party. His said that Congress is ruling at the center as well as in the state and people have seen the development during all this period of time. Coming up of new districts, multiple funding from NABARD and World Bank are an open example that his party is concerned about the people of the state.
While his meeting at Lashwara congress leader Vikas Dutt was told that many old age pensions were pending since long and he was taken aback when one old lady said that her pension was withheld since eighteen years. Many other widows and old ladies had the same complaint that their pensions are not being regularized or even started. BPL Ration was another problem and had complaint against the existing ration dealer. The youth had their problems pertaining to unemployment and Dutt assured all of them that he would certainly take steps to streamline the pensions and also make available some loans for the unemployed.
Many people had demand to make a road till the cremation ground near their village as during monsoons it is impossible for them to perform cremation of the departed souls. Some lanes and drains were demanded to be made on priority.
Mr. Vikas Dutt was accompanied by Balbir Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Ajit Singh, Capt Nek Ram, Baba Balbev Singh, Dev Raj Sharma, Balraj Singh, Kaku Ram Paanch, Hartal Singh and other prominent people of village Lashwara.
