| BGSBU organises first meet of IMC | | | EALRY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 12: The first meeting of IMC-Sunderbani and Mendhar was held today in the Conference Hall of School of Mathematical Sciences & Engineering, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri, under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohammed Asger, Chairman IMC & Dean School of Mathematical Sciences & Engineering, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Rajouri. In his welcome address, Asger highlighted the opportunities and scopes in the area of vocational education and skill training in India. He stressed upon the need of channalising the huge young force available in India in such a manner that they play a productive role in enhancing the growing Indian economy. He stressed upon the need and importance of skill development and the importance associated with it that Dr. Manmon Singh, Prime Minister of India has kept this thing under his own control. Hailing the Central Government for going for Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode in the area of skill development, Asger deliberated on the need and importance of PPP in the area of vocational education and skill development training. Under this scheme ITI Sunderbanni and ITI Mendhar has been assigned to BGSB University as a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. He called upon all the concerned to put in their maximum for disposing off the responsibility of developing these two institutes under PPP mode. The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Technical Education Jammu, Deputy Director Employment Rajouri and Poonch Districts, Superintendents of ITI Sunderbani and Mendhar, alongwith other IMC members.
