| 3,000 member 'jatha' leaves for Amritsar to mark Fateh Diwas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 12: To mark the Fateh Diwas and Vijay March, a 3,000 member 'jatha' was flagged off for Amritsar from this winter capital of the state today. The Vijay March commenced from Rajouri, the birth place of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, in whose remembrance the Fateh Diwas is being celebrated all over the country. ''The March reached last night from Rajouri and flagged off for Amritsar from Bibi Chand Kour Samadh here,'' a Shiromani Akaldal leader here said, adding Srihind in Punjab would be the final destination for the 'jatha'. He, however, said around 3,000 followers are participating in the march, which is being organised as a part of celebration from May 12-14. Langar and sweets were also distributed among the sangat on the occasion.
