| SFDCC organises Gurmat Samagam Fateh Divas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 12: A Gurmat Samagam Fateh Divas was held at Gurudwara Rani Talab Digiana organised by Fateh Divas Celebration Committee J&K under the president ship of Mahant Manjeet Singh Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch. Addressing the Sikh Sangat Mahant Manjeet Singh said that Baba Banda Singh Bahadur who was a native of Rajouri made great sacrifice in fighting against the repressive regime of Mughals who were bent upon converting Hindus to Islam. Singh said he not only defeated such evil forces but also established the Sikh Raj after seeking the blessings of Guru Gobind Singh.
Mahant further appealed the Sikh Sangat to avoid drugs for the bright future of the community. He stressed upon the parents to follow the teachings of Holy Guru Granth Sahib and provide quality education to their children.
A Siropa was also presented to Mahant by Gurudwara committee. Others members of the Fateh Divis Celeberation Committee who participated in the Gurmat Samagam were Sudershan Singh Wazir, Avtar Singh Khalsa, Harjeet Singh, Mohinder Singh, Paramjeet Singh and Kultar Singh.
