| Dalit organisations form amalgam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 12: The state unit of Vishva Dalit Parishad-a newly formed international body supported by the various Dalit organizations and Dr B R Ambedkar Foundation, Government of India, would work for betterment and upliftment of weaker sections of the state. This was stated by office bearers of the organization in a media interaction held here today. They further said that the Parishad intended to establish computer and educational centres in remote areas, besides working for education of young generation. The Parishad also intends to Education people for the preservation of aged old culture and brotherhood. Parishad will help weaker groups financially to start the earning centres like that of knitting, embroidery case making, shawl manufacturing. Parishad will also work for the establishment of technical institution so as to provide technical institution to the people thing below poverty line and sponsor the brilliant students for their higher education. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Abdul Khaliq Bhatt, GM Tantray, Sumera Jan, and Devinder Dogra.
