| Lightning kills student at Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU: A sixth class student was killed due to lightning at Palmar in Kishtwar today.
Dheeraj Kumar (12) was playing in the field when it started raining all of a sudden. To save himself from the downpour, he took shelter under a tree.
Police sources said while he was standing under the tree, lightning struck, killing him on the spot.
A week or so back, several sheep and goats were killed due to lightning in Banihal.
