SRINAGAR, May 12: In keeping with its pre decided agenda of effecting reshuffle at various levels of state administration, the cabinet led by Omar Abdullah today approved and ordered transfers and postings of officers. The reshuffle was effected at the level of IAS offciers holding the posts of Principal Secretaries and Commissioners in various government departments as well as officers holding KAS ranks.
Pramod Kumar Jain, IAS joining on completion of foreign training/ expiry of leave has been posted as Financial commissioner, Revenue, relieving R.K. Jerath, Principal Secretary, Health & Medical Education of the additional charge of the post.
K.B. Agarwal, IAS awaiting order of posting has been posted as Chairman J&K Special Tribunal vice Dr. Arun Kumar who is proceeding on study leave.
Atal Dulloo, IAS, Commissioner/ Secretary, Information & Science Technology Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/ Secretary Department of Tourism and Culture, he will continue to hold the post of Administrative Secretary Information Technology and Science Technology Departments.
