| Pilgrim dies on way to Vaishnodevi shrine | | |
JAMMU: An unidentified pilgrim died of cardiac arrest enroute to the Mata Vashnovdevi shrine in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said.
They said the pilgrim, who was going to the cave shrine to pay obeisance, collapsed after a heart attack at Himkote in Katra belt of the district.
He was taken to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said. His body had been kept at the hospital for identification. |
