JAMMU, May 13: Selected by the J&K State Double Wicket Cricket Association, a 12-member team today flagged off by Dr Taran Singh, president and Surendra Walia, treasurer of the Association at Jammu Railway Station, here.
Led by Angat Singh, the team left for New Delhi to participate in the three-day Under-16 National Double Wicket Cricket Championship starting from tomorrow.
The tournament is being organized under the aegis of All India Double Wicket Cricket Association.
The team: Kuldip Kumar (Captain), Trilok Singh, Rajinder Singh, Rohit Sharma, Mohit Kumar, Shubham Shrama, Ayush Gandotra, Sahil, SKGupta and Ankush.
Speaking to the team members, president of the Association wished them success in the competition.
