| Jawan tries to molest woman, arrested | | |

Jammu: A jawan of the Territorial Army (TA) had been arrested on charge of trespassing the house of a civilian with an intension to molest a woman in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district, police sources said on Monday.
Mohammad Zubaid allegedly entered the house of Moulvi Talib on Sunday while his daughter-in-law was alone. She raised an alarm after the jawan allegedly tried to make advances towards her.
Villagers who gathered at the house after hearing the woman's cries for help thrashed Zubaid and locked him in a room.
Police arrested the accused. He had been booked and investigations were on.
