176 enumerators,34 supervisors trained

BHADERWAH, May 13: As part of Census training being conducted in the State, about 176 enumerators and 34 supervisors were imparted training during two camps held for the employees of Bhaderwah Sub-Division, one each at Dak Bunglow and Government Degree College, Bhaderwah.
During the training, the trainees were made aware about the significance of this ambitious programme. Besides, they were also taught about the aims and objectives of the Census. The team of experts informed the participants about several acts of census 1948, preparation of maps, survey of households, preparation of schedules etc. On concluding day of the training programme, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bhaderwah, Yasha Mudgal, Tehsildar Bhaderwah and Executive Officer Municipal Committee, Bhaderwah were also present. Addressing the trainees, the SDM enjoined upon the trainees to ensure strict implementation of the guidelines given to them by the experts so as to achieve desired results in this National Census Programme.
