| Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s birthday celebrated | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 13: Birth Day of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a renowned spiritual Guru and multifaceted humanitarian, was celebrated with gaiety and fervor in Jammu today. Sri Sri, the founder of International Art of Living Foundation and the driving force behind International Association for Human Values, turned fifty four today. The Art of Living fraternity in the state is having a week long celebration "Sri Sri Week". A mesmerising Bhajan Sandhaya was organised in the evening at Abhinav Theatre, where Shalini and Srinivas, a internationally known couple of Art of Living fame, gave an outstanding performance. A large number of people from all walks of life were present at the event to experience an ethereal delight. Each soul present was soaked in an aura of blissfulness and divinity created by rendition of blissful bhajans by the famous singers The acclaimed singers from Kerala, with Malayali as their mother tongue and are in the state for the first time, surprised the huge audience by signing a bhajan each in Dogri and Kashmiri languages. A small meditation session was also held. EarHer, Dr Pitanjalai Mishra, a renowned ayurvedic doctor and head of R&D division of Sri Sri Ayurveda, also addressed the audience on benefits of Ayurveda. Sh. M. K. Dwivedi, Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion.
