| Landmine explosion rocks Kulgam, No damage done | | | Srinagar, October 16: A powerful land mine explosion shook the whole Kulgam area, while as police cop's misfire gripped panic among people at Jehangir Chowk.
A powerful landmine explosion, according to reports reaching here, was targeted on a patrol party of 5 th BN of CRPF, but no loss of life or property has been reported.
However Hizb-ul-Mujahideen while claiming the responsibility for the attack said four security personnel were killed and two others injured. The security personnel, according to spokesman Ehsan Ellahi, damaged the residential house of one Mohd Ramzan Bhat R/O Sehpora and a local ration depot.
Meanwhile misfire by a polic cop gripped panic among people at Jehangir Chowk for a while. However normalcy in the area got restored soon.
