JAMMU, May 16: Two-day State Chess Championship, organised by the All Jammu and Kashmir Chess Association, shall take place from June five at Hotel Nek, Below Gumat, here.
Entries can be submitted at Hotel Nek up to June four. The interested players have been advised to bring with them their own chess boards for the competition.
"The championship will become basis for the selection of state teams for forthcoming nationals in different age groups of under-19, under-17, under-15, under-13, under-nine and under-seven," said president of the Association, Atul Kumar Gupta.
