EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 16: The J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages, (JKAACL) organized a composite mushaira in Govt. High School, Kalideh, and Sunderbani in District Rajouri under its Border Area Development Programme scheme. Prominent poets of the areas participated and recited their poems. Those who participated were Balak Ram Bral, Joginder Paul Sharma, Madam Mohan, Amarjeet Sharma, Rampal Sharma, Smt, Neeru Sharma, Sanjeev Khajuria, Pyaru Ram, Birbal Sharma, Om Parkash Bhajwalia, Smt. Bimal Pathania, Muneer Ahmed, Chander Mohan and Joginder Sharma. Besides these poets, some local students and teachers slow participated gave best singing items especially by Sujata Suri a B.ED student. Earlier O.P.Sharma Dy. Secretary Culture welcomed the gathering and threw light on the activities of the academy, that are being doing especially in far-flung area. He asked the people to come forward and avail its benefits. Muneer Ahmed ZEO Sudnerbani was the Chief Guest whereas Balak Ram Bral presided over the function. Madam Mohan Sharma Retd. ZEO and Bimal Pathania, Principal of the School were guests of honor and special guest respectively. Editor Dogri, Brij Mohan delivered vote of thanks and also conducted the proceedings of the programme.
