SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 16 – To demolish illegal construction on agriculture land, either sides of National Highway and other roads in violation of section 33 of Land Revenue Act and Ribbon Development Act, the District Administration Anantnag has decided to launch a campaign from October 18, 2006 in the district.
The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of Revenue and other line department officers held under the chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner, Anantnag. A team comprising officers from Revenue, Roads and Buildings, Municipal Council and Police departments has been constituted to identify encroachments and take strict action. |
