| GAD clarifies Police personnel ex-gratia relief | | | Srinagar, October 16 The General Administration Department has clarified that the payment of ex-gratia relief in favour of Police personnel of Jammu and Kashmir who were detailed for election duty during Assembly election 2002 and were killed or disabled as a result of violence attributable to the breach of law and order or any other form of civil commotion shall not be entitled to ex-gratia relief other than or more than the ex-gratia relief ordered vide Government No.1565-GAD of 2002 dated 11.09.2002 by the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K through Police Headquarters.
