J&K defeated Jharkhand by 3-0 sets quite convincingly in the ongoing 15th mini national volleyball championship (boys and girls) being played at Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) here today. The score was 25-7, 25-11 and 25-17. However, J&K lost their opening encounter against West Bengal by 1-3 yesterday. They (J&K) started off well be taking the first set by 25-18. West Bengal made a strong comeback and eventually took the next three sets with a comfortable margin of 23-25, 24-26 and 11-25. J&K now have two matches to play in their pool against A.P. and host Chhattisgarh.
