Amadeep Singh registered a thrilling win over Gorav Sharma with 3-2 frames on the second day of the ongoing 16th Jammu District Billiards and Snooker championship being played at Billiards Hall M.A. stadium here today. The frame score was 34-76, 65-33, 31-43, 61-34 and 7-48. Atul Tandoon also won an exciting contest against Rahul Gupta with the same margin (14-45, 65-19, 49-25, 21-54 and 51-25) In other first round matches in senior snooker played today, Gurdev Singh beat Jaideep Nayar by 69-4, 52-23, 33-57 and 52-22 while Rohit Kapoor got walkover Aman Sharma. However, all the seeded cueists shall start their campaign on October 18. The final date for registered entries in Junior Billiards in October 21.
