| Army organizes interactive program with civilians | | | JAMMU OCT-16-Army Bhimbar Gali Brigade today organized a special interactive program to acquaint the people living in the border district about the social and development programs launched by the state government and the Army. The interactive program was combined with a special medical camp in which Army and civil doctors provided free medical treatment to the ailing patients. On this occasion, PHE, Forest, Handicraft, Animal Husbandry and Horticulture Departments put up their stalls to educate the people about the schemes launched by the government for socio economic transformation of the people living in far- flung and border areas. Over 865 locals including 323 children were medically examined at the camp and provided free treatment while another 200 infants were vaccinated against various diseases.
