Based on information provide by DSP (Operations) T.R Katoch , Rajouri in a joint operations launched by 323 mountain Brigade along with police personnel led by DSP Katoch Mohammed Fareed, DSP Dar in general Area Kanthol under jurisdiction of police station Kandi.
During the search a hideout of militant was busted which led to the recovery of a huge cache of explosives, detonators, cordex, grenades and ammunition. The explosives were meant to make improvised explosives devices intended to be used by the militants against the security forces in this area.
