| CPI(M) Jammu holds one day convention | | |

The Communist Party of India (Maxist) CPI (M) Jammu wing a one day convention of its regional committees here today and discussed various regional national and international issues. M.Y Tarigami Gen. Sec CPI (M) was the main speaker on the occasion.
While addressing the activists of its party Tarigami welcomed Hawana talks and said that peace process must go on without any obstacle. He said that only confidence building steps can counter violence.
Talking about Kashmir issue he said that real federation is the only solution to the problem. He also said that for rapid development of the state, District Development Boards (DDB) should be framed in every district on the pattern of Ladakh.
He also opposed the concept of liberalization Globalisation and privatization.
The party president Sham P. Kesar also spoke on the occasion and educated the party cadre who came to attend the convention for flung districts of the state.
