Jammu, May 27 Police today arrested four persons for allegedly smuggling forest produce in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir and seized a truck carrying logs.
On a tip off, police intercepted a vehicle carrying wooden logs and seized it at Birpur, 30 km from here, they said.
Mohmmad Rafeeq, Mohmmad Fareed, Mujbur Hussain and Ahsak Ahmed were arrested for felling trees and smuggling logs, police said, adding a case has been registered.
