| BJP demands action against people's committee of Shopian | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 29: Coming down heavily on the political leaders for allegedly exploiting the emotions of the common masses for just their political interests, the state unit of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) cautioned the people to remain vigilant of such nefarious designs. In a press statement issued by the spokesperson Advocate Ramesh Arora, it was stated that there is no one in the state to own moral responsibility and responsibility otherwise for fabricated incidents. Our representatives after voted to power get immunity from all their alleged misdeeds. Arora stated that they do not tender apology to public even, when number of bills moved by them in state assembly were lapsed and dropped due to the non-presence of mover in state assembly. They let the issues to die with what result there is, and never care to tackle them. Some issues were created by previous government like Shri Amarnath land row by the then Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. About the incident of alleged rape and murder of two ladies in Shopian, Ramesh Arora said that we cannot allow any political leaders or anti-social element to exploit the situation and create an atmosphere in which few persons were compelled to loose their lives. Arora said why cases should not be registered against such political leaders of the valley. People of valley should take a lesson from whole episode in which two ladies died and people should realize that Kashmir-centric politics is so cheap that they can sell coffin also for the sake of cheap popularity. Arora demanded full action against all culprits responsible for creating unwanted ugly atmosphere including the Advocates pointed out by CBI. Ramesh Arora further demanded action against the committee of local people of Shopian leading the agitation. If the cases were registered at Jammu during Amarnath land row agitation and are still pending, why should not cases be registered at Shopian against political leaders and person responsible for hatching the conspiracy.
