| State president BJP criticizes NC, PDP and Congress | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 29: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has criticized the leadership of NC Congress and PDP for their total failure to provide at least one job in each family, as promised in their 2008-assembly election manifestos. Addressing a public meeting at Uri, BJP state president, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that everyone living in Jammu and Kashmir is an Indian and it is their duty to expose the anti-national elements. These so-called leaders of Kashmir are worried for future of their own wards. Not only this, these persons enjoyed plus Z-category security at the cost of public exchequer. Manhas alleged that the role of political parties like NC, Congress and PDP is also almost like that of separatists. Instead of working to end corruption, bring transparency, remove poverty, setup industries to provide employment, take effective step to contain prices, NC and PDP have been demanding autonomy, self-rule and unfortunately the Congress has not uttered a single word in opposition. Why do not the leaders of PDP leave their heavy security before demanding troop's withdrawal and he advised these parties to work honestly for mitigation of the sufferings of common people instead of misleading them on hollow promises?
