IGNOU's term end exams from June 1

JAMMU, May 29: Term End Examination for June, 2010 of Indira Gandhi National Open University is going to commence from June 1, 2010 and would conclude on June 28, 2010.
The University has established 753 examination centres including 58 overseas centres, 21 centres in jail for jail inmates and 51 centres at PIs for convergence students.
Hall Tickets (Examination Intimation Slips) have been issued to 348036 eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination.
The detailed hall ticket status is also available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in. Under Jammu Region, 22 Examination Centres have been established including Doda, Bhalessal, Udhampur, Sunderbani, Rajouri, Kishtwar, Poonch, Gool, Samba and Kathua.
The students may also download the Hall Tickets from the University website and appear in the examination.
The Examination Centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do not possess the Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips), but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre.
Students are advised to be in possession of the Identity Card issued by the University during the Examination and they should not carry mobile phone with them inside the Examination Hall.
Separate Hall tickets shall be issued to the students of BCA & MCA for Term End practicals. Students are advised to contact the respective Regional Centres in the last week of June for their practical examinations.
In some cases hall ticket has been issued with * mark against some course(s). Students are permitted to take the exam for these course(s), however, they are advised to contact their Regional Centre for verification of the registration before appearing in the examination.
The results will be declared after the confirmation of registration of these courses.
Hall Ticket is not issued to the students in whose cases minimum study period is not over or the registration validity period is over.
