| Teachers XI thrash Media XI by 9 wickets | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BISHNAH, May 29:In an exciting 15-15 over match held at D.T.M convent school, Ratnal, Bishnah, Teachers XI defeated the media XI by 9 wickets. Winning the toss, media XI decided to bat first whose they scored 152 runs in stipulated 15 hours. The main scorer from media XI was Pankaj Sharma who scored maximum runs with hitting 6 sixes. Other players could not contribute much to the total. The vice captain of media XI Satish Sharma batted well but lose his wicket cheaply. The bowlers of teachers XI did splendid job by restricting Media XI to 152 runs in 15 overs. Teachers XI started their innings in a great fashion, and the opening pair hitted the ball in every corner of the field. They chased the total in just 8.2 overs and losing only 1 wicket. Rajiv Sharma, the captain of teachers XI was declared man of the match who scored highest score in the match. Ashwani Sharma, MLA Bishnah who was the chief guest distributed the winning and runners trophy among the teams. Sunita Bangotra, Principal, DTM convent School, in her address gave detailed academic excellence of the school and also presented vote of thanks. Others who were present on the occasion include D.R.Angral, president, All India Angurana Biradari, Mangal Dass, Vice chairman, All India Angurana Biradari, Darshan Angral Vice President, All India Angurana Biradari, Capt. Mirchand Vice President, All India Angurana Biradari ,K.D. Bhagat, SHO Bishnah and Sunny, Special correspondent, Early Times were guests of honour on the occasion. The staff and students of the school witnessed the match with great enthusiasm.
