Lok Adalat benefit for Poor people: SSS

JAMMU, Jun 1: The chairman state Samaj Sudhar (SSS) committee Mohan choudhary has hailed the working of Lok-Adalt in the state. Addressing a press conference here today he said, that nearly 1063 cases have been settled by Lok Adalat including 25 cases or divorce on mutual agreement were also decided. Choudhary said that this being a good sign and as such the work of the Lok Adalats will continue to benefit the poor.
He further said that some vested interests are concerned in the abrogation of article 370 alarming the outsiders to settle in Jammu and Kashmir.
He also said that near five lac people from outside the state have so far been made to settle in Jammu and Kashmir, and have also provided employment to outsiders now settle din J&K in the department of PHE, PDD, JDA and the number is more than 120.
They have also included the names of the outsiders in the vote lists and have got the ration card and state subject provided to them. He said that these people are doing this just to add to the population of Jammu.
Choudhary that the state government has been proclaiming to provide transparency in administration but corruption is rampant in the traffic department.
The corruption is so open that in broad day light we can witness on National High way the menace of corruption. This is a known fact that the traffic people have been charging monthly ransoms from all the plying vehicles.
Thus it cannot be ruled out that as these traffic people have been saying that the share of this corrupt sum goes to the higher ups also.
The other leaders who present on this occasion were Mohd. Yousuf Wani, Narinder Pal choudhary " Noni", Sameer Singh, Mohd Shadat Hussain and Rano Muskaan.
