| Priest held for molestation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jun 1: Janipur Police arrested a priest for allegedly molesting a law student at Shiv Shakti temple at Janipur area this morning. The priest has been identified as Bitu Pujari. Police reports said that a law student, Sudha (name changed) along with her brother went to Shiv Shakti temple in Janipur area for paying obeisance where the priest of the temple allegedly molested with her. The girl overpowered the priest and slapped him which drew the attention of the other people who had also come to pay obeisance in the temple. Taking serious note of the molestation, the priest was severely thrashed by the people and handed over him to the police. Police have registered a case under section 353 RPC against the priest in police station Janipur.
