| Two JeM militants killed in Sopore | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 1: At least two Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militants were killed and an army jawan was injured in an overnight encounter between militants and security forces in Sopore town of Baramulla district of Kashmir. Police sources said in a gunbattle with them, security forces shot dead two JeM militants at Lalid in Sopore. A jawan was also injured in the exchange of fire, the sources added, saying he was hospitalised. Earlier on Monday, the security forces killed four militants, believed to be foreigners, in the dense Hamam-Nardagan forests in Rafiabad, around 65 kilometres from Srinagar. The security forces recovered four AK 47 rifles, an under barrel renade launcher and other arms and ammunitions from the slain militants.
