| Abducted girl recovered from Tamil Nadu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 1: A girl, who was abducted on May 5 from Upper Thathar here, was today recovered from Tamil Nadu. After the girl's abduction, her family members had lodged a report with Janipura police station.
Police sources said during investigation, police came to know that the girl was in Tamil Nadu. Acting on a tip-off, a police team, which was despatched to Tamil Nadu, today raided the hideout in which the girl was kept and recovered here. Her two abductors were also arrested and brought to Jammu along with the girl.
The girl was restored to her parents after her medical examination at the GMC hospital here, the sources added. The sustained interrogation of the accused was in progress.
