‘Former Advocate general is untraceable’

JAMMU, June 2: Former Advocate general of the state and political advisor to Union Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah is untraceable. This is what a police constable told the Special Mobile Magistrate Passenger Tax and Shop Act at Jammu today.
The court had issued summon to the chairman Cricket Association, Advocate Muhammad Aslam Goni in a defamation case. However, a police constable Madan Singh told the court Aslam Goni was not available at his residency road, Jammu address. "He has shifted to some unknown place two years ago", he told the court.
The court took serious note of the report and directed the constable and Incharge police post residency Road to appear in person or through Advocate on June 25. —JNF
